Raise Your Hand for the Record

Fresh off the 2010 Winter Olympics, WorkSafeBC engaged young worker safety ambassador Josh Dueck — Canada‚Äôs silver medalist Paralympian — to take on his next challenge: the Guinness World Record for most High Fives. As someone who has experienced workplace injury first-hand, Josh was determined to encourage young workers to raise their hand and voice their safety concerns at work. The true champion he was, Josh crushed the previous world record three times over.

The result — A new Guiness World Record, quarter million dollars worth of earned media coverage and one really, sore hand.
